Wearing away of rocks and stones in the river as they bump into each other

Wearing away of the riverbed and banks by stones and gravel

A U-shaped body of water that forms when a meander is cut off from the main river

Moving downward. Making the channel bed deeper

Occurring across the river bed outwards. Makes ricer wider
