What are the 4 Different Civil Courts and explain their function.

  • County Court: Deals with the majority of cases in the civil court system
  • High Court: Hears matters relating to more important civil matters
  • Court of Appeal: Hears appeals against sentences/convictions made in Country court or High court.
  • Supreme Court: Deals with the most serious offences, usually of national significance in both criminal and civil cases.
