What are human rights
A
universal - they belong to all humans everywhere, regardless of where they live, their ethnicity, race
fundamental - they are inalienable - these set of rights cannot be taken away from individuals
absolute - they must be fully upheld in all circumstances

A
rights held by a group of people as a whole - relates to national security, public health and public safety

rights held by the individual - privacy, life, fair trial etc
