Rib Cage Placement!
-Example- Take your arms and reach back overhead and notice how the weight of the arms pulls the bottom of the ribs off the mat.

- The obliques connection to the lower ribs
- Inhaling to the back of the ribs

Exercise to test it out

- Start by lying on your back, knees bent, arms by your sides.
- Inhale into the back of the rib cage and raise the arms to the ceiling
- Exhale and connect the abdominals at the bottom of the ribs as your reach your arms back and overhead.
- Inhale into the back of the ribs as your reach to the ceiling and exhale as your return to the starting position.
