HVT set up

A

Direct contact on the rib, medial to the rib angle
Line up thena eminence so thumb is pointing to sp of tsp
Over rotate as hand is lateral
Motion test
By putting pressure down with body
Then rock them back
Sb
Then add flexion through pushing down
Then over rotate deep breath and put thrust through

A

Ribs 3-6 pressure is up more, curvature of thorax
Ribs 6-9 straight down
