CT lift Flashcards

Im now going to perform a high velocity, low amplitude technique which consists of putting a thrust through your joint.
Ive assessed you and i’m comfortable you don’t have any risk factors that make you vulnerable to anything more than slight soreness for the next 24hrs.
Im performing this technique as its a quick way to improve ROM and relive some of the pressure on the surrounding soft tissue.
You may hear a slight cavitation (a click) this is not bone moving on bone or realigning you in any way, this is just nitrogen and Co2 being released from the joint, its a soft tissue technique.
Is that ok with you?
Ok ill put you in the position for the technique and then ask you if its ok to put the trust through once im there, you can say no no or ask me to stop at any point.
