In regards to disposition of a juvenile case, juveniles are __________ for delinquent (Felony) charges and ________ on misdemeanor or status offenses.
1)Adjudicated (Felony)(Not Convicted as with adults). 2) Wayward for misdemeanor/status offenses.
To interrogate a juvenile, officers should make a reasonable effort to notify their parent or guardian. But if not located does not make a confession inadmissible. What factors does the court look at for admissibility?
The totality of the circumstances; juvenile’s age, experience, education, intelligence to understand Miranda. Along with any prior criminal history.
A juvenile should be taken into custody and transported to the police station, if upon probable cause they are arrested for any delinquent act or wayward offense, where?
the juvenile possess a risk to them self or the community and the parent or guardian are not in a position to exercise appropriate control over the juvenile.

School officials can search a students locker if reasonable suspicion is established. If the school requests police to search a locker of particular student, the police need?
Probable Cause to conduct the search.
If the school requests a “Full” search of a school with the use of a drug detecting dog, what can be searched and what cannot be search?
All area of the school can be searched. However students cannot be subject to a search of their persons or their belongings without probable cause.
