Slant Rhyme
Lap/Shape final consonant is the same but vowel may be different
Eye Rhyme
Looks spelled the same but actually sounds different. Love/Prove
Identical Rhyme
Using the exact same word as a rhyme for that word Ground/Ground
Rich Rhyme
Blew/Blue they sound exactly the same but are actually different words.
Macaronic Rhyme
Words that rhyme but are from two different languages four/amore
Name three different placements for rhyme
Initial rhyme, internal or medial rhyme, and terminal rhyme (the last one is the most common)
Internal Rhyme
Rhyme that occurs within the same line
Interlinear Rhyme
rhyme that occurs over different lines. Cannot be too distant or you won’t hear the rhyme, though.
Broken Rhyme
Rhyme that has to be broken over a line break to create the rhyme, or a long word rhymed with a series of shorter words
Perfect Rhyme or True Rhyme
True blue
