what rx is given for resolving arthritis in rf?
naproxen /aspirin for adults but naproxen is better in terms of dosage as well as on the heart and ibuprofen is best for kids
dosage of naproxen?till when ?how long ? is there any side effects that should be resolved

severe syndenham chorea is rx with IVIG and glucocorticoids

continuous dental check up,Annual influenza vaccination, prophylaxis for infective endocarditis for those who have prosthetic valves and pt who underwent dental procedures
for severe carditis what do we give
prednisolone
what do we give to eradicate group a strep
we give benzathine penicillin g IM or, penicillin g or erythomyicn
prophylaxis of strep
sulfadiazine, penicillin v or benzathine penicillin
what is the rx for managing other problems of the heart
diuretics or angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor

HALOPERIDOL,CARBAMAZEPIEN OR VALPROIC ACID
what are the side effects of NSAIDS
cvs risk of MI , GI risk of peptic ulcer, change in renal hemodynamics and for pregnant ladies
contraindication for nsaid
peptic ulcer, hemophilia bleeding tendency ,
Pregnancy, Children with viral infections (Aspirin may cause Reye’s
syndrome), kidney dysfunction
adverse effects of steroids
Weight gain, lower limb edema.
Other late irreversible effects are:
Reduced resistance to infection and osteoporesis, Diabetes, cataracts, and hypertension Hyperlipidaemia, and peptic ulceration
