Gout
Acute flare -
A. NSAID (Indomethasin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, meloxicam)
If impaired kidney - short course steroids (pred, triamcinolone, methylpred) 2nd line -> colchicine
B. Urate lowering therapy - for prevention on recurrence, joint damage n renal cxn ŵ indication
Allopurinol with prev of acute attack for the first 6 months of Allopurinol therapy (colchicine fir normal kid or pred for deranged kid)
Non pharm- diet control, life style, cvd screening
OA
Pain mgt - NSAID ( don’t use systemic steriod, methotrexate biphosphonates non tramadole opioids n colchicine)
Non pharm- exercise, braces, Cane,
SLE
Non pharm- ex, decrease sun expo, stress mgt
Pharm - NSAIDS , Corticosteroids for sever /life threatening situations - methylpred, pred
2. Antimalarial, chloroquine
3. Immunosuppressive- azathioprine, methotrexate, mycophenolate, cyclophosphamide
Raynaud phen
Non pharm, warn the hand
Phar. If non pharm mgt fails
- nifedipine ir amlodipine
