Q

Style

A

Choppy and short to add to the objective feel. Says “he said” and “she said.” Simply written, sort of “lack” of style - (a measure of creativity?)

Simple and colloquial, doesn’t use slang or crazy long words. It’s simple and easy to understand to imply both how distant the characters are from the narrator as well as the generality of the situation (how it can seem to generally happen more frequently: breakdown of marriages)
