Foot disease includes
Ulcers, infections and ischemia and are typically precipitated but the common foot risk factors of PAD, PN and foot deformity
Ulcer
An ulcer is a lesion through the skin or cell membrane resulting is a loss of tisssue, usually with inflammation
Causes of ulceration
Venous - inability for blood to return - around ankles, shallow
Arterial - distal extremities, painful
Neuropathic- ulcer
