Q

Mode C

A

A, B, C, above C, above 10,000ft, within the “vail”.

For class C, 20 miles from center of the runway complex we can make two way radio comms (MUST when within)

For class B, must clear you to enter. Communication is established when they repeat to your tail number. MUST GET CLEARANCE and will give a transponder code to squawk

TRSA - terminal radar service area: extra set of eyes that is not mandatory but highly recommended. Must abide by their directions if used

Tabulated data on back of chart gives altitudes (and times) for special and restricted airspaces. Restricted requires a clearance.
R - restricted (clearance needed)
P - prohibited
A - alert (no comms needed)
W - warning (no comms needed, not always US property)

TFR = temporary flight restriction (disaster relief area example - clearance if giving aid, otherwise nobody is alloweddddd)

E airspace above 10,000ft:
- 5SM vis, 1000ft above, 1000ft below, 1SM horizontal
