· Did the Church replace Israel in God’s importance, did His promises transfer to the Church?
· The Kingdom of God created Israel and the Church. These groups are then part of something bigger.
· God’s purpose in initial election of Israel and the Church was not that either might receive the special blessing from God but might have a special position of servanthood.
· The coming Kingdom of God is the consummation of God’s eternal purpose in creation. That purpose includes but transcends the people of Israel and the people of the Church.
· Israel and/or the Church can be the community/people of the Kingdom but never the Kingdom itself. The Kingdom is the rule of God.
· The Kingdom created both Israel and the Church and they both witness to the Kingdom.
· The Kingdom of God contains the people of faith from both Israel and the Church.
