How to draw up push dose adrenaline?

Answer 1

Using a 10 ml syringe
Add 1ml from adrenaline (1:10,000, 0.1 mg/ ml = 100 mcg/ ml) from crash trolley.
Add to 9mls of normal saline to make up 10 mls.

Now you have 10mls of 10mcg/ 1ml Each 1 ml = 10 mcg

Give in aliquots of 0.5-2mls (= 5-20 mcg) q 2-5 mins
