How do fold mountains form?

A
  • When an area of sea seperate two plates, geosynclines form which gradually becomes more compressed to form sedimentary rock.
  • When the two plates move towards each other, the layers of rock become folded.
  • Eventually this becomes above sea level and is fold mountains
