List 8 factors that increase risk of mortality in asthma exacerbation:
A
- Prior ICU admission
- Prior intubation
- Prior life-threatening even (e.g. requiring CPR)
- History of poorly controlled asthma (e.g. deterioration on systemic steroids or recent oral steroid use, hospitalization/ED visit for asthma in the past year)
- Food allergy
- Exercise-induced asthma
- Cocain/heroin use
- ASA-induced asthma
