  • Sit still for five mintues
  • For one mintue count the number of breaths you take
  • Do four mintues of exercise
  • As soon as you stop count your breaths per minute
  • Get others to do the same and compare your resutls

A

Exercise increases breathing rate - this is because your muscels respire more during exercise as they need to be supplied with O2 and remove CO2 to it needs to increase
