A

Flaws of AP XR
A
- Heart shadow magnified, meaning size of heart not correctly assessed
- Scapulae obstruct view of lungs
- Difficult for patient to adequately breath in

What does RIP stand for?
A
Rotation- medial ends of clavicle should be equidistant from spinous processes of upper thoracic vertebrae
Inspiration- at least 6 ribs should be visible
Penetration- enough radiation
