A
- 3 or more days a week with symptoms
- 3 or more days a week with use of SABA for symptomatic relief
- 1 or more nights a week with waking up due to asthma

What is LTRA? ICS? SABA? LABA?

- Leukotriene receptor antagonist
- Inhaled corticosteroid
- short acting b agonist
- long acting b agonist

What is the issue between LTRA and LABA?
A
NICE suggests adding LTRA after low dose ICS but BTS/SIGN suggests LABA
-LTRA is cheaper than LABA but most patients end up on LABA anyway
