Bronchitis: cough in the absence of fever, tachypnea and tachycardia

Acute vs chronic bronchitis
A
Chronic: cough for at least 3 months/year for at least 2 consecutive years
Acute exacerbation of chronic:
- Inc. sputum volume
- Inc. sputum purulence
- Inc. dyspnea
(Abx treatment is recommended if two or more of above criteria are present)
