What are the responsibilities of the second engine company?
Establish water supply
The remaining crew reports to the Firefork to assist the first engine and placing the first hoseline in service
The officer shall obtain keys and check the status of the fire control station or annunciator panel to note any changes that may have occurred since the first engine checked and proceeded to the location of the
Be ready to advance their own line onto the fire floor as a second attack line or back up line
Who from the second engine should be stationed at the standpipe outlet in the stairwell as a rescue team?
The officer and firefighter from the second engine
What are the responsibilities of the third arriving engine?
Established water supply to the second FDC. If no other FDC’s the entire crew goes to the fire floor
View the opposite side of the structure from where the first engine position. Take note of smoke fire location, number of floors, conditions evident, and persons in distress and reported via radio
Proceed to the floor above the fire to work with the second truck company and checking for extension and for occupants
What are the responsibilities of the fourth engine?
Park away from the building
The entire crew proceeds to the attack stairwell one floor below the fire floor as the RIT.
If the fire in a high-rise is below grade the RIT should position where?
Outside the IDLH However in close proximity and of the fire for this may be one floor above the fire floor but not below the fire floor

Report directly to the command post and assume lobby control
