First RM advantage
it allowed me to read a book which has been highly edited and researched. This means it is more likely to be accurate and reliable which is good whilst researching.
2nd first RM advantage
This book allowed me to find very specific information. Whilst using the books from the library, the index was very specific and allowed me to find information about healthcare in the United States that I would never have found without looking in the index.
First RM disadvantage
The book did not talk about the monetary aspect of the American healthcare (that I could find) which hindered my research as I thought this book would briefly discuss the American Healthcare it did not go into detail on that aspect. The book hardly addressed my aims and I had to research online in order to gather enough information to address my aims.
2nd first RM disadvantage
it was incredibly time consuming for me to search through and reading many pages to try and find information which could be relevant to my research. This is because when I would finally find information, it would usually be lacking and not quite usable in this essay
First RM what I would change
I would search for specific books online before I went to the Edinburgh libraries app to search up books to borrow so I could find books that are most relevant to what I’m researching.
Second RM advantage
One advantage of using the ProCon American healthcare website is that is allowed me to gain access to arguments which I never would have known if I had not used that research method. For example, I would have never known that a disadvantage of having a free healthcare in America would raise taxes.
2nd second RM advantage
The second advantage of using the ProCon American healthcare website is that it is a relevant source. This means it gave me up to date information which is more likely to be accurate. Proof of this is that it was last updated on the 16th of March, 2023.
Second RM disadvantage
One disadvantage of using the ProCon American healthcare website was that the website didn’t always have specific or enough information which I needed to fulfil my aims. This meant I had to go down rabbit holes in order to find suitable information.
2nd second RM disadvantage
A second disadvantage to using the ProCon American healthcare website was that I did not enjoy the way the website was formatted. I found it hard to interpret and therefore it may have affected my ability to make a valid conclusion for my research
Second RM what I would change
I would be more specific when searching for specific information because there is many irrelevant sources and I would check the reliability and reputation more closely.

Why did I choose my first RM
I chose this method because it allowed me to have access to wide range of books that I previously would not be able to obtain as books are expensive.

it allowed me to access a variety of information on the American healthcare which allowed me to structure my argument.
