What is the method for the copper sulfate crystal practical?

A
  • add the metal oxide to a warm solution of acid in excess where it no longer reacts
  • filter the excess metal oxide to leave a solution of the salt
  • gently warm the salt so the amount of liquid has halved
  • leave the evaporating basin in a warm, dry place (windowsill) to crystallise and pat the crystals dry with filter paper
