How do you prepare a wet mount slide?

• place a drop of water to a slide with a pipette.
• place your specimen onto the slide and carefully lower a cover slip onto the specimen.
• place your prepared slide onto the microscope stage.

How do you use a microscope?

Answer 2

• start with the lowest powered lens then move the stage up with the coarse adjustment knob.
• look down the eyepiece & adjust the focus with the adjustment knobs(use the coarse one first).
• to see the slide with a greater magnification, swap to higher powered lens & refocus.
