use paper to draw 2 lines perpendicular to one another and crossing
label one of these as the normal line
then get a block of perspex and draw around it
from the n line draw angles up to 60 degrees to direct light along
then mark each emergent ray on the other side of the block
once repeated remove block and draw lines to connect the incident rays and the emergents

these are the path of light through the block and measure to see how much it is refracted
