- The potential of things: Smiling & excite
- Stressful, defensive, frustrated situations: Slow, thoughtful, skilful
My nervous system’s programmed response to moments of frustration:
Frustrated Red zone: Soothing my nervous system outwards, releasing the pressure of frustration for a quick hit of release.
Reprogramming my nervous system: Soothe my nervous system inwards.

Helpful reminders not to take stress so personally
- Some things are universally hard and stressful, don’t take it personally.
- Separate self-doubt about what you’re already good at, from what you don’t yet know and will learn.
- Don’t take on the burden of things outside your control.
Building relationships - helpful reminders
The team takes on the consciousness of the leader. Get your head in a positive frame of mind to bring a good vibe for others.
Don’t try and win the war in every meeting.
