Regulate the menstral cycle and maintain female sexual development.
What is the menstrual cycle?
Preparing the uterus lining to fertilise an egg if the egg is not fertilised it will cause the shedding of the uterus lining,

First menstrual cycle
What is menopause
End of the menstrual cycle as a result of a womans age.
What is the function of the GnRH hormone?
Stimulates the pituitary gland to release folical stimulating hormones and luteal stimulating hormones.
What is the ovarian cycle?
Process of the egg growing and maturing.
What is the function of the fallopian tubes?
Made from smooth muscle and connect to the ovaries allowing the egg to pass through.
What is a zygote?
Sperm and egg meet and become a new singular cell in the uterus.
What are the layers of the uterus?
Outer layer: Permimetrium
Inside layer: Myometrium
Inner layer: Endometrium
