What is the rate of involution of the uterus
2 fingers per week After birth-24hrs= umblicus 1wk=midway btw symphysis pubis and umblicus 2wks= pelvic 6-8wks = back to normal size

Puerperal sepsis
Genital tract sepsis during puerperium usually caused by contaminated medical equipment.
Puerperal pyrexia
Pyrexia during the puerperium regardless of source of infection, could be from genitals, uterus, breast, other sources that do not involve the reproductive system
