What are the findings in pseudocyesis?
A
Pseudocyesis is a condition in which a woman experiences the symptoms of pregnancy, but her urine pregnancy test and ultrasound scan are negative. Such patients usually have some underlying psychological disturbance that results in hormonal imbalance leading to amenorrhea, breast tenderness, water retention, abdominal distension, etc.
