What are the functions of the ovary?

The fluid-filled cavity that surrounds and protects the developing oocyte after 1st Meiotic division has taken place, but before ovulation
What is the Corpus Luteum?
The remaining tissue from the ruptured follicle after ovulation.
What shape is the uterus of the bitch and queen described as?
Bicornuate. A Y shaped structure with 2 uterine horns and a uterine body.
What is the definition of Polytocus / Multiparous
Give birth to multiple offspring

Usually last 3-9 months
