The egg divides into many cells. It’s the baby developing, it’s called an embryo.

What is the menstrual cycle?
The menstrual cycle is the monthly series of changes a woman’s body goes through in preparation for the possibility of pregnancy
What are menestral periods?
During puberty a girl will have her periods. Around once a month, blood from the lining of the uterus leaves the body through the vagina.
Why do women have periods?
They have periods to prepare for fertilisation
What is fertilisation?
When the sperm reaches the egg and creates a embryo.
What happened after a sperm goes inside the egg?
The egg solidifies not allowing more sperm to enter.
How much sperm does an average male have?
500million sperms
How much sperm die and what from?
About 2/3rd of the sperm die from the women’s immune system, (white blood cells) and also from not being protected with semen.
What is the male sex organ?
The penis
What are the testes for?
To produce sperm
What is the prostate gland for?
To produce semen
