This decreases disease risk and reduces safety concerns for both people and animals. However this is still new technology so it is expensive.

Eggs are fertilized by sperm then extracted when the uterus is flooded, these embryos can then be transplanted into surrogates. Fertile females may not be good mothers or able to carry to term, this allows for both sides of the coin to be possible. It is very veritable on how many eggs will be collected and is still very costly. BEST WAY TO ACCELERATE GENETICS.
