A
  • apply adhesive to try
  • fill upper dentate tray with lab putty
  • push denture into putty, ensuring material reaches the edge of the flange but doesn’t cover the fitting surface
  • cut orientating notches into putty
  • cover putty in vaseline
  • roll lab putty over top of denture ensuring full denture is covered
  • place upper dentate tray on putty to stabilse impression

  • DO NOT lever at the hard palate as this can fracture
