The kidneys also have an endocrine function too. It release renin, which stimulates the release of ADH, and also release EPO which stimulates RBC’s production.

Can hold between 400-600mL of urine.

Stores urine in reservoir until it’s time to urinate.

Conducts urine from the urinary bladder to the outside.

To note, male urethras also work with the reproductive system during ejaculation.
