Good for pt with residual native renal function

Pt need to be. Able to manage technical aspects of dialysis
Unsuitable for pt with stoma/prior surgery
Risk of infection
Complications: drainage issues, malposition, leaks, herniae

A
Efficient form of dialysis
Plenty of support from staff
