The rebirth of Western Europe it also marked the beginning of the modern era.

A war that lasted 300 years between the Christians and Muslims, which they then helped increase the demand for goods from Asia.

People who trade with other countries.

Loyalty to their Kings and country.

A battle between England and France where weapons decreased the need for feudal lords and knight.
Cannon
A weapon developed after discovery of gunpowder which helped destroy castles.
Long bow
Weapon that can shoot up to 300 yards which helped because less people died.
Pope
The head of the Catholic Church.

Was an important place for Christians because they didn’t have a common government to hold them together.
Bubonic Plague
A worldwide death that spread all over Europe that killed millions of people, and was the reason for the decline in the manorial system.
Humanism
People believed that knowledge and having an education could help make the world a better place.
Renaissance Man
A person who was useful in all aspects of life.
Trade
Exchanging of goods from country to country.
