He was a painter, sculptor, architect, and poet. His sculptures “Pieta & David” are considered masterpieces. His greatest work is the 130ft * 44ft ceiling of the Sistine chapel that shows Bibilical images of amazing detail, power, & beaut.
Who was Leonardo Da Vinci ?
He was known as a true Renaissance man. He was a painter, sculptor, and inventor. His greatest masterpiece was the “Mona Lisa” which was known for its emotion & depth.
Who was Raphael?
He was the favorite painter of the Pope who also “perfected” Renaissance painting. He improved perspective and realism by studying Leonardo & Michelangelo. His greatest painting was “School of Athens” which blended Classical figures from Greece & Rome with important people from the Renaissance.

He was Florence’s greatest architect. He studied the Pantheon when he built the Cuppolo of Maria del Fiore Cathedral in Florence.

He was known for writing plays during the Renaissance in England.

The Renaissance moving up North, a bunch of different countries got involved, and each country took a certain part of the Renaissance ideas and not all of the ideas.
