Letter in New Testament
Pauline letters
The Pauline letters are a collection of thirteen New Testament books written by Apostle Paul to various early Christian communities to guide and teach them about Christian faith and practice.
Pastoral Letters
Letters are called pastoral because they were written by one pastor, or shepard, to two other pastors named Timothy and titus. They are addressed to individual people in the church and provie advice on church leadership
Basilica
A basilica is a large, important church building that has special architectural features and is often used for significant religious ceremonies.
Stream of consciousness
Is a narrative style in which the writing is formed through the immediate thoughts or ideas that form in one’s head. It could mean jumping from one topic to another as they come to mind. On and on.
Scribe
Scribes are writers who copy and manufacture letters and books. Some wrote through the dictation of another person.
Judaizers
Judziaers were Chrisitans who believed and taught that following the Mosiac Law and embracing Jewish customs was necessary in order to have slavation.
Justification
Justification is the belief that God forgives and accepts people as righteous through their faith or belief, not because of their actions.
pseudonymous
A pseudonymous work is written under a false name, often used by authors to attribute their writings to well-known figures for credibility or authority.
Parousia
Parousia is a term in Christianity that refers to the future second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth.
Asceticism
Asceticism is the practice of living a simple life without indulging in physical pleasures, often for religious or spiritual reasons.
Gnosticism
Gnosticism is a religious belief that emphasizes secret knowledge as the key to spiritual salvation.
