What happened in Peter’s vision?
In Peter’s vision, he saw a sheet lowered from heaven containing all kinds of animals, both clean and unclean according to Jewish dietary laws. A voice told Peter to kill and eat the animals, but Peter hesitated because he had never eaten anything unclean. The voice then told him not to call anything impure that God had made clean. This vision was a revelation to Peter that the Gospel was meant for all people, not just Jews, and he was later led to the house of a Gentile named Cornelius to preach the message of Jesus to him and his household.
