List Three Prophecies Fulfilled
- Jesus would rise from His grave -He would be resurrected, and gifted eternal life with His Father, and The Messiah had an opportunity to meet, advise, and confirm the beliefs of his Apostles and disciples (by proving He was God’s Son)

and the descendant of David and Abraham - He therefore had the right to be called the Son of God and King of the Jews, as he was a pure Jew and was eternal, and worshipped at His birth by three shepherds - Jesus’ family flees to Egypt, because The massacre of newborn children occurred when He was born - King Harrod issued a decree for all infant males to be killed, as he didn’t want Jesus to claim his throne
Define ‘Light of the World’
- Light of the world means that Jesus is the energy through which we can see the truth
- He is the best way in which to live our lives.
- It is connected to ‘I am the way, the truth, the light’
- He is our role model and source that guides the way, who is pure and godly/heavenly
He is the best result of humanity
Define ‘Bread of Life’
- Jesus is food for the soul
- He is our spiritual sustenance
- He feeds our belief and makes it healthier/stronger
- If a disciple consumes Him, they will discover eternal life
- Whoever follows/believes in Him will never go hungry or thirsty
- Jesus will nourish you
Refers to the ‘feeding of the 5, 000’
Define ‘Christ’
- Means ‘the anointed one’
- Signifies His relationship to God as His Son
- Means He is ‘blessed’ and ‘chosen’
- Means He is at the highest stages of devotion and ritual in the Christian religion
Allows Him to not only be baptised but to baptise others and welcome them into God’s family
Define ‘Good Shepherd’
- Jesus will take care of you like a shepherd does for his flock of sheep
- If you are lost, He will do everything to find you and bring you back to God’s family
This is title emphasizes Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross
Define ‘Lamb of God’
- Like a lamb, Jesus is completely innocent, and obedient to God
- This was an essential part of Jesus following what His father wanted and sacrificing himself on the cross
- If He always returns to His Father
- He believes, trusts, respects, and loves God, like a sheep does its shepherd
He takes away the sins of the world, and was sacrificed (like a lamb)

- Highlights Jesus’ divinity

Define ‘Lord’
- Nobody can describe Jesus as ‘Lord’ apart from the Holy Spirit
- Calling Jesus ‘the Lord’ became an expression of devotion and faith to early Christians
Define ‘Messiah’
- Means Jesus is the ‘chosen one’
- He is the fulfilment of the Messianic Prophecies
Signifies that He is the Son of God, the Almighty One
Define ‘Alpha and Omega’
- Represents the eternal rule of God
- Shows the manifesto of an everlasting life
He is the Beginning and the End
Define ‘I Am’
- This means Jesus is: the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Gate for the Sheep, the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection, the Way, Truth, and Life, and the True Vine

List the differences between the traditional and realistic images of Jesus
Realistic:
* Jesus displayed the features of an Arabic, Jewish man from the Middle - East
* He would’ve kept his curly, dark hair short, as it was offensive for men to wear their hair long, and it would be easier to manage
* He looks quite scruffy, flawed, and unkept
* His hair is more bushy, his skin more of an olive tone (which looks sun - damaged), his eyes are a dark hazel, and his nose and lips look to be slightly blown out of proportion * He looks dirtier and less god - like
Jesus looks humble and human
Traditional:
* Jesus looks clean, god - like, and flawless
* His hair is long, light, chestnut and glossy, and his eyes are a similar light shade
* He is looking up to His Father, God
* His clothes are clean and represent holiness, and a halo is surrounding His head
* He looks well - kept and groomed
* His position causes Him to look majestic and proud
* Jesus’ features and skin tone are Caucasian and European (such as his straight nose)
His lips and eyebrows are extremely thin

- They are both men and images of Jesus
