What is the apartheid?
the system of government in South Africa from 1958-1990 in which the law was the segregation (separation) of black and white people .
Nelson Mandela was a protestor in the apartheid. What did he do?
Initially Mandela’s policies were peaceful and non-violent. he took part in bombing campaigns which targeted government infrastructurealthough the intention was never to kill, lives were lost in
the bombings. In 1962, Mandela was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment for high treason and conspiracy against the state. In 1990, Mandela was released from prison. Over the next three years took part in negotiations that ended the apartheid system. He became South Africa’s first democratically elected President.
Who are the quakers?
The Quakers, or the Religious Society of Friends, are a Christian religious group that originated in the 17th century in England. They are known for their commitment to peace, social justice, simplicity, and equality.

Bonhoeffer was a pacifist who came to believe that although violence is evil, there are worse evils which can only be dealt with by the use of violence

Good:
Discipline: Can teach respect and responsibility.
Boundaries: Helps set clear limits for behavior.
Immediate Correction: Can stop harmful behavior quickly.
Bad:
Emotional Harm: Can cause long-term emotional damage.
Fear and Resentment: May lead to fear and resentment towards authority.
Ineffective Learning: Doesn’t teach the reasons behind behavior, just compliance.
