What is a Menorah?
A Menorah is a 7 or 9 branched candelabra that is placed on the Bihmah (raised platform) in every synagogue.
What stories are kept in the Torah?
The first five scriptures of the Old Testament. It is kind of like the Hebrew Bible.
Where is the Torah read in a Synagogue?
The centre of the synagogue, on a raised platform called the Bihmah
Who leads the synagogue services?
The rabbi (priest) and Cantor (lead singing and prayer)

Ner Tamid (eternal light representing G_d), Ark (Curtain and locked cupboard containing Torah scrolls), Mezuzah (Containing Shema), prayers, Yad (To read Torah out) and Siddur.
What is a Synagogue?
Is a place of community, teaching and worship. It is also called a temple and is just like a church!
Where do the leather straps and box go from the Tefillin?
Non dominant bicep (for your heart π) and Forehead (for your mind π§ ).

Kippah (small skull cap), Tallit (Prayer shawl) and Tefillin (Leather boxes)

What are the two types of ways that you can Pray?
Personal prayer between you and G_d and Communal prayer with a group.
When do you light the Shabbat candles and who light them?
18 minutes until sundown every Friday and the eldest women lights it.
Are you allowed to drive on Shabbat?
Well then what can I do?
No! But you are allowed to play board games, spend time with your family and go to the synagogue.
How long does Shabbatt last for?
25 hours - Friday 18 minutes before sundown until Saturday night
Who and what do you bless during Shabbatt?
Children, Women, Kiddush, Challah and Candles.
