What is Person Centred Counselling?
Person-centred counselling is based on the belief that a person who wants to find an answer to a situation can feel that their counsellor will not judge them, and will help them express their emotions and feelings. The counsellor will see the client as having the best understanding of her/his own experience.
What is psychoanalysis?
Psychoanalysis is the process used to encourage the client to examine childhood or early memory trauma to gain a deeper understanding of present situation
Psychoanalysis assumes that only by becoming aware of earlier dilemmas, which have been repressed into our unconscious because of painful associations, can we progress psychologically.
What is Existential Therapy?
Existential psychotherapy is an approach that explores inner conflict that a client may experience when confronted with some ultimate concerns in life, which include the inevitability of death, freedom and its responsibilities, existential isolation, and meaninglessness.
