Start on the dominant side in the back segment. If right handed, work clockwise around the head shape. If left handed work counterclockwise.

Work on short to medium length hair from the crown to the nape and medium length to long hair from the nape to the crown.

Apply the relaxer to the new growth 1/8 from the base to the line of demarcation; apply to both sides. Section size may vary based on density

Holding each section about 90 degrees from the base, use the comb to distribute the product evenly and stretch the new growth away from the scalp from the crown to the nape.
