How do you initiate relationships?
You could be helpful towards people, Respect other people, Be open and sharing and Respect other people’s opinions.
How do you initiate friendships?
Be confident, not cocky. Smile and laugh. Make eye contact. Have an opinion and also ask for their opinions. Remember peoples names. Be yourself.
Name 4 ways to sustain a healthy relationship?
1) Listen to each other
2) Respect each other
3) Don’t gossip about each other
4) Communicate regularly with each other
Explain how you can handle conflicts in relationships.
First identify the problem.
Give your friends some space to think about it.
Direct approach.
Own up if there’s something you did.
Accept the result - If your friend wants to end the relationships, accept it and move on.
Let it be and move on. Make new friends.
Remain friendly.
Explain the 3 types of behaviour when there is conflict in a relationships.
1) Assertive - Direct and honest, expressing your feelings and respecting yourself and others.
From this behaviour you get = good results, a win - win feeling
WE ARE EQUAL
2) Aggressive behaviour - Full of blame, experiencing anger and domineering and overpowering.
From this behaviour you get = control, humiliation, a win-lose situation.
I AM MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU
3) Passive - Apologetic, giving up your rights by not being honest, doing what you’re told and feeling helpless and disappointment.
From this behaviour you get = something you don’t want, a build up of anger, a I lose situation.
