RC - don’t allow it - made promise to god - annulment occurs if can’t consummate, didn’t happen in a church or weren’t free to marry
COE- only if adultery occurs “except for sexual immorality”
METHODISTS- allow - not all relationships work can remarry

Allow - Accept that all marriage doesn’t work - encourage remarriage
RECONCILIATION- IDDAH (talaq) - END
