Rejected Takeoff
• Thrust levers…………………Close
• Autothrottle………………….Disengage
• Maximum braking…………Verify RTO Autobrake or apply manual braking
• Speedbrake lever………….Raise
• Reverse thrust……………….Maximum as needed
Continue Max braking until certain A/C can stop
• PA to cabin “This is the Captain, remain seated, remain seated”

First Officer calls:
• Speedbrake up/not up
• Reversers normal/no reverse
• 60 Kts
• Call ATC and notify that you are stopping
F/O is to verify speed at rejected takeoff.
When the airplane is stopped consider the following:
• Review Brake Cooling Schedule
• The possibility of wheel fuse plugs melting. There is a lag in increasing temperatures
• The need to clear the runway (Do not set parking brake unless evacuation is needed)
• The requirement for remote parking
• Wind direction in case of fire
• Alerting fire equipment
• Advising ground crew of the hot brakes
• keep the passengers informed
• Completion of Non-Normal checklists as appropriate
