Money - wanted the popes money , Pope takes taxes
Love - Married to Catherine Of Aragon but wanted a divorce and to marry another woman
Power - he was concerned a foreigner leader held a lot of power.

Why was there a Reform?
Henry 8 was VERY Catholic but when he married Catherine of Aragon she could not give him an heir and Anne Boleyn swept him off his feet.
