How did Britain build an empire?
Britain set up trading bases, had allies, enslaved Africans, settlements going for the main cities, scientific trips where they took land, expanding, industry force, claiming coastal areas and tricking natives
Why did they want an empire ?
It funded a massive growth in the industry. It meant they were well connected around the world, they could steal goods from other countries, they had lots of land and it made them seem powerful.
What happened in 1783?
America broke away from England and England was worried other countries would follow .
Why did the Industrial Revolution lead to empire?
You needed a market for your ideas, people made profits and people got more money
Why did Britain build an empire (short) ?
Desire for materials,markets and profits .
